Another pleasant walk hand marked by signposts giving information about wildlife in these surroundings and ordonnance survey is the 3 km long” Promenade des Gaillicourts”.
A first stage of initiation of 1.500 km brings us up to the “Green Carpet “Stream” ,whilst the landscape route, 1.70km long, provides a glimpse of the lovely Gaillicourt hills. For just 1 euro, the “Prieuré” has a map of the Coulée Verte (green Carpet).

The permanent A.86 Motorway interactive show will take you back 12000 years through bones and other archaeological remains dug up when the tunnel was being built.
Shortly this will link up Rueil-Malmaison with Pont Colbert, in the Southern park of Versailles :
- The Green Carpet ( Stream, shop)
- The Malmaison Estate Forest.
