About : Exhibition "A look at Japanese art, between tradition and modernity"

Come and discover the work of Mami Kanno, a ceramicist born in Tokyo, trained at the Tokyo University of Fine Arts and then in Paris.
His works in sandstone, porcelain and raku are beautifully simple. They evoke the roots of Japanese culture and present Japan.
To complete this trip to the land of the rising sun, the visitor will be able to admire the photographic work of the artist Gérard Percicot. Francoise Bonelli, member of the association Contrastes, offers a demonstration and a conference on Manga January 25 at 19h that will trace the history of this essential art in Japanese culture. The Floral Art Workshop association of Malmaison will make you discover Ikebana's compositions. A tea ceremony and a concert of Japanese music revisited by the students of the
Regional Radiation Conservatory will be offered on February 1st at 4pm in the presence of Mami Kanno.
