What could be better than a forest bath in the Bois de Saint-Cucufa to recharge your batteries after these long weeks of confinement ? Except if you live in the forest, it's probably been two months since you last set foot there! The forest, prohibited during confinement, is once again accessible to everyone, without limits. Let's take full advantage of it but let's not forget the conditions: limit our gatherings to 10 people maximum and apply the rules of distancing. Let's be careful and respect nature !

2) Stroll along the Seine in the footsteps of the Impressionists !

After two months of closure, the banks of the Seine are again accessible within the limit of gatherings of less than 10 walkers at the same time. Here are our suggestions!

1) The beautiful walk in the footsteps of the Empress and the impressionist painters: landscaped trails and nature close to Paris. Come and discover our bike ride for all lovers of the bicycle to relive the important eras of the history of Rueil and its banks of the Seine.

2) Strolling from one pond to another! Are you looking for a bike ride in western Paris to take a breath of fresh air and discover the riches of the Hauts-de-Seine in a different way? Come and discover the wonders from one pond to another.

3) At our neighbors! Follow one of the four paths along the Chemin des Impressionnistes, these short hiking routes which will allow you to discover the landscapes painted by the Impressionist painters. From the island of Chatou follow the circuit of the Impressionists until Croissy-sur-Seine or Carrières-sur-Seine. From Le Pecq or Louveciennes two itineraries are proposed, they will take you back in time while appreciating the current landscapes in the light of the past.

3) Discover Rueil with your family using your mobile !

In this adventure, you will learn everything about the First and the Second Empire, thanks to a treasure hunt in 10 missions. During your trip, you will find 10 characters hidden in 10 famous places in the city. You will first need to find and scan the right site, then respond to a challenge. 4) Discover the Sempé exhibition at Atelier Grognard !

From Saturday May 16 at Atelier Grognard, discover or rediscover the virtuoso itinerary of an artist whose each work gives part of his personality: Jean-Jacques Sempé. Many know the work of Jean-Jacques SEMPÉ through his albums or his regular publications in various French and foreign newspapers. Few know that hundreds of unpublished drawings remain in the boxes of his workshop which allow to reconstruct the amazing journey of a stubborn worker.

5) Immerse yourself in the city archives and rediscover the local history museum !

A true memory of Rueil-Malmaison, this museum traces the history of the evolution of a small village in the Paris region, from Charles Le Chauve to the present day. The old Second Empire style town hall, a copy of that of Fontainebleau, was built in cut stones and red bricks and was inaugurated on November 7, 1869. You will find there in particular, a collection of 1800 figurines representing the great army of Napoleon , the "Laundry" room, the Edouard Belin room, inventor of the "Bélinographe" (ancestor of the fax machine), the Eugène Capelle room, with a general presentation of the history of the postcard.
