About : Visite guidée de l'exposition Sempé pour les groupes

The Atelier Grognard is a place that hosts each year 2 temporary exhibitions in an atypical space of 650 m2. A nice rebirth for this former factory built in the nineteenth century in full Eiffel period. Copper, zinc and tin plates were produced for engraving or for early photography. This place has the charm and the character of industrial sites reconverted in respect of its original materials : iron and glass.

The city of Rueil-Malmaison has chosen to discover the virtuoso itinerary of an artist whose every work shares a part of his personality : Jean-Jacques Sempé.

As part of the exhibition, the Tourist Office organizes guided tours for groups (from 15 people).

With a part telling the story of the birth of Petit Nicolas with René Goscinny and a space more directly devoted to Paris, this important retrospective, part of which was hosted at the Musée Mer Marine in Bordeaux last summer, presents more than 200 original drawings, including one vast majority of unpublished.
