About : Guided tour of Mont-Valérien

Come and discover the Mont-Valérien fortress : a place of history and memories of the Second World War and the military communications regiment open to the public exceptionally. On the program : theater, exhibitions, workshops, guided and theatrical tours !

Throughout the week-end, from 10 am to 6 pm, the public will be able to freely visit or take guided tours of the military fortress, the “Parcours des Fusillée” and the memorial of France Combattante. Many educational activities for young people will be offered.
Still active military base, the 8th Signal Regiment will also open its doors in order to discover its missions, its functioning as well as its dovecote, the last still in function of Europe.

Visitors will be able to learn about the history of Mont-Valérien, the main place of execution by the German army during World War II, through guided tours, workshops, theater and exhibitions.
