About : Gallicourts Promenade
This beautiful and long walk of 13 kilometers will make you discover the treasures of the city of Rueil-Malmaison. Mixed, it offers a mid-urban, half-nature.
From the RER station in Rueil-Malmaison, you will first discover the Parc des Impressionnistes whose landscapes are inspired by the paintings of the masters of the 19th century. You continue your walk along a long route along the Seine. You go alongside the Impressionnist Island and see the Maison Fournaise, famous for being represented in the Luncheon of the boatmen of Auguste Renoir.
After following the golf course of Rueil-Malmaison and admiring the Chateau de la Petite Malmaison, you will begin a course in the heights of the city and climb to the orchards of the Gallicourts. You will then be able to admire a panorama on Paris and La Défense. The end of the route takes you straight on the footsteps of Joséphine and Napoléon in the vicinity of the Château de Malmaison.
